Bruce Braley for Congress
FIGHTING FOR OUR VETERANS

Bruce Braley has been a tireless advocate in Congress for our men and women in uniform.  When nearly 600 Iowa National Guard soldiers were denied full GI Bill education benefits because of a Pentagon error when they returned home from the longest tour of duty of any ground combat unit in Iraq, Rep. Braley launched a Congressional investigation and successfully fought to get every one of the soldiers the benefits they deserved.

Bruce Braley introduced and helped pass into law legislation to help prevent veterans’ suicides.  Rep. Braley also co-introduced a New GI Bill for the 21st Century to help expand and enhance educational benefits for our men and women in uniform.
